Gus: Today we are joining our friends,
Zee and Zoey in remembering those that have gone to the Rainbow Bridge.
I've lost my brother, Freddie and my sister, Daisy. I miss them terribly. Well, maybe not Daisy, but I know some day we will meet at the Bridge and it will be a happy day.

Our fur siblings aren't the only ones we have lost. We always show our students as being cute, happy and healthy. Unfortunately, they aren't always healthy. They may come to us with parasites or respiratory infections or sometimes unknown illnesses. We do our best to get them healthy again but not all of them make it. Sometimes they die and travel to the Rainbow Bridge. The Mama always wonders if she would have done things differently would they have survived. I try to tell the Mama that she doesn't need to feel guilty. She did all she could to help them and that she did a wonderful thing. She was there for them in the end and she made sure they were loved.

Our hope is that some day every kitty has someone to wait for at the Rainbow Bridge.

We are so grateful to Deb for creating this wonderful day to remember and honor all our beautiful and wonderful anipals who have left us.
