CatLadyBox Review

Gus:  Listen up, kitties!  The holidays are here.  Are you looking for the purrfect gift for your lady human?  Well, look no further!  There is no better option than a CatLadyBox!

CatLadyBox is a subscription service for people crazy about cats.  Each month cat themed items are sent to your human.  Things such as jewelry, books, t-shirts, stationary, and anything else feline.

There are lots of subscription boxes out there so why should you choose CatLadyBox?  They are a small business.  It's the purrfect way to support Small Business Saturday.  CatLadyBox donates 5% of the profits each month to cat rescues.  They support other small businesses and independent artists with their box contents.  Most importantly, they dare to redefine how people think about cat ladies.

The Mama was sent the November box and she LOVED it.  Here is what was in it:

"Cats Are My Bag" Tote by Xenotees
Xenotees has lots of cool gifts for cat lovers.  You should check out their website.  From now until 12/31/2015 you can use the code SAVE15 to save 15% off your next order.

Leopard Cat Watch for CatLadyBox
The Mama is looking very stylish in her new watch.  You can find the watch featured at The Tiniest Tiger.

Cat Outline Keychain by The Empurrium
The Empurrium has a lot of cool hand-made pet accessories.  They have a feather teaser wand toy that I would love to have.

The CatLadyBox has two options.  Above was from the Basic CatLadyBox.  They also have a Crazy CatLadyBox which includes two items just for us kitties.  Here is what I got:

Catnip Drumstick by Housecat Club
This toy was so much fun!  Unfortunately, we've already lost it under the refrigerator.  The Housecat Club has many other fun toys.  If you use the code TURKEYDAY you can get 20% off your order.

Cloud 9 Cat Treats
These treats are high in protein, low in calories and grain-free with not fillers, by-products, or preservatives.  YUM!

Dorian the founder of CatLadyBox includes a note in the box so it feels as if you've gotten a gift from a good friend who knows you well.

Now you may be wondering, how do I get my human one of these?

To send a gift subscription visit catladybox.com and click on "Give a Gift" on the homepage.  Choose the number of months you'd like to give (1, 3, or 6 boxes), enter their email address and tell them what day you'd like an email sent to your gift recipient.

In order to receive the December CatLadyBox, the gift email must be sent and the recipient must have clicked the link to claim their gift by 8 p.m. on December 20th.  CatLadyBox suggests scheduling the recipient's gift email to send right away or by December 15th to give them time to see it and claim it.  Boxes will arrive by the end of December.

What if you don't want the gift recipient to get an email or you just want them to get the box?  You can put your own email as gift recipient and the 'gift' email will be sent to you instead.  If you do this, you must claim the gift by clicking the link and fill it out the form as is you were them.  Then CatLadyBox will send them the box!

What could be better?  What about saving 10% off any gift subscription?  Use the code VIPHOLIDAY to save.

I can't wait to get a subscription for the Mama! Anyone have a credit card I can use?

Pearl:  Happy Black Cat Friday!  Look!  Grandma got me a present.  It's a box!

Pearl:  Paws off, Jaq!  It's mine!

Jaq:  Actually, Pearl it's Black Friday and that box isn't for you.

Pearl:  You are right.  Every day is Black Cat Day!

Pearl:  How are you celebrating Black Cat Friday with your black cat?  WHAT?  You don't have a black cat?  Well, you need one!  Black cats are all the rage right now.  Here are some great black cats available for adoption from Great Plains SPCA.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving!
We have been doing this blogging thing for a year now.  We are truly grateful for all of our readers.  We enjoy sharing the stories of our foster students and other homeless pets at Great Plains SPCA.  We are so thankful for all of the families that have adopted them.

We hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving!

Purrs and Kisses,

Cold Selfies

Gus:  It's gotten cold here in Kansas City.  My favorite place to curl up is directly on a heat vent even if it isn't the easiest place to get to.

Jaq and Pearl are spending more time in front of the vents as well.

Even our student, Pepper has been curling up under the covers in Mama's bed.

What's that?  You thought Pepper and his siblings graduated?  So did I!  He had to have some more tests.  While we are waiting for the results, he is back with us.  The Mama took millions of photos of him today.  She thinks he is cute.  I thought I'd share a couple with you.
