Emmy Transfers to Another School

Scandal has rocked Purr's Training Acatemy.  For the first time ever, a student has chosen to leave Purr's and transfer to another school.

Emmy:  Purr's has a great academic program, but I've decided to pursue my dream of being a professional kitten wrestler.  The best way to do that is to transfer to Kristen's Kitten Kindergarten.  Coach Kristen runs the best wrestling program in the state.  With this transfer, I will be able to train along other top recruits such Hemi and Jill.

Gus:  While we will miss Emmy, we wish her the best in pursuing her professional kitten wrestling career.

Note from the Mama:  
Kittens need socialization with other kittens.  This is how they learn when their play is too rough.  Other kittens can give the appropriate feedback when a bite or a scratch is a little too much.  There is no way for a human to replicate this interaction.  Without this socialization, single kittens are more likely to nip at human fingers or attack ankles.  This may be cute when they are kittens, it can be painful when they grow into adults.
Emmy is an extremely playful kitten.  After a couple days (and several ankle attacks), I knew Emmy needed some kitten friends.  Two other single kittens about the same age had recently been brought to Great Plains SPCA and were with another foster family.  After testing all of the kittens for FIV and FELV, it was decided to combine them.  The other foster took Emmy and I'll get the next litter that comes in.
Don't worry though!  Emmy is in excellent hands!  Plus, we will be kitten sitting her and her new siblings in a few weeks while her foster mom goes out of town for work.  When I left Emmy this afternoon, she was having a blast with her new siblings!
