#TBT and National Tell a Fairy Tale Day

Once upon a time, in the Kingdom of Kansas, there lived a Princess named Pearl.

Princess Pearl, her mother and brother were caught by a scary man named Animal Control Officer.  They were taken to a place called an Animal Shelter where they were put in a cage.   It was warm and cozy at the animal shelter.  They had plenty of food but they didn't know what was going to happen to them.

One day a family came and took Princess Pearl's brother.  Another day a different family took Princess Pearl's mother.  Princess Pearl was all alone.  She was very afraid.

Soon a woman came to the animal shelter to meet Princess Pearl.   The woman was nice.  She held and petted Pearl.  Then she said she wanted to be Pearl's new mama.   She took Princess Pearl to a big castle and introduced her to her new brothers, Freddie and Gus.

And they lived happily ever after!
