Shelter Fun Selfies and Adoption Updates

Gus:  We have some great news - Juniper and Cypress were adopted together!  They were adopted by a former co-worker of the Mama.  We've already gotten an update and they are adjusting well to their new home.  They had excellent teachers so we didn't expect anything less.

Flora's adopters had a family emergency and couldn't pick her up on Friday so Flora hung out with us a couple extra days.  They are picking her up today so Mama took Flora back to the shelter this morning.

At the shelter, Flora got to play in the ball pit.  She wasn't sure what to do in it so we told her to take her selfie.  We're going to miss this cute little face!

Graduation Day

Gus:  As President and CEO of Purr's Training Acatemy, it is my great pleasure to present to you our latest graduation class.  Please join me in congratulating them.

We would also like to say congratulations to the Mama's niece, Emma and nephew, Callan who both graduated from high school on Saturday.  Unfortunately, the graduations took place in different states, but Mama was able to go to one and Grandma the other.  We are so proud of both Emma and Cal!

Castles and Sunshine Selfies

Gus:  We have three minions students left with us - Flora, Juniper, and Cypress.  We had a little play time this morning.  I was feeling generous so I let the students play in my castle.  Jaq was feeling generous as well (even though he didn't know it) and let the students sleep in his sun bed.

Adoption News!

Gus:  We are very happy to say that Clover was adopted today!  He didn't even spend a night at the Adoption Center.  He's so cute!  We knew he would be adopted fast!

In other adoption news, Ivy and Basil were adopted too!  Yes, I know they weren't big enough to have their surgeries.  Their new family was so disappointed they couldn't bring them home this weekend.  They asked if they could still adopt them if they paid a spayed/neuter deposit.  The shelter agreed and Ivy and Basil are in their furever home!

Graduation Day for Clover

Gus:  Sometimes as President and Chief Cat Officer at Purr's Training Acatemy I have to deliver bad news.  Flora, Ivy, Juniper, Basil, and Cypress, you will not be graduating today. You must be at least 2 pounds to graduate.  I'm sorry to say all of you are less than 2 pounds.  Ivy is the smallest at 1.4 pounds.  We have postponed your graduation until June 2nd.

Clover, on the other hand, is a whopping 2.4 pounds.  He is a little older than the rest of you.
