Cinderella

Jaq:  I'm upset!  I'm outraged!

You may or may not know that the Mama named us after the mice in Cinderella - Gus, Jaq, and Perla (a.k.a Pearl).


I try to keep that fact hidden.  It is embarrassing.  Mice are prey, not studly creatures like myself.  Mice are meant to be eaten. Although I suppose there is an exception for magical mice.

But that isn't what has me all upset.  In the new version of the movie, Gus's sidekick is a FEMALE named Jacqueline.

Here I was hoping that Jaq would be the star this time.  Gus gets all the fame.  I never dreamed they would replace me with a girl!  How could they break up the dynamic duo of Gus and Jaq!



I don't care that the Mama loved the movie.  I'm boycotting it!  It does't even matter that I'm a sucker for a happy ending.

    I don't know who I'm named after, but when I was very little, someone at the shelter named me Christopher Paws! Hello. I'm a girl!

    That's cute that you three were named after the mice in Cinderella! But way NOT cool that they replaced Jaq with a GIRL! What were they thinking?! You should write them a letter.
