This photo is of Shay. Shay was adopted last June. Shay was found as a feral kitten. She spent her first year at a school for vet techs where they practiced procedures on her. Needless to say, Shay didn't really like humans that much. Shay spent over year at Great Plains. She had never lived in a home. Some great foster parents shared their home with Shay and taught her how wonderful it was to be part of a family. A couple weeks after returning to the shelter Shay found her furrever home! It just goes to show you that there is a home for everykitty. Some kitties just need a little extra time and help.

Wonderful news. A cat at our shelter recently got adopted after waiting for 2 years...there absolutely is a home for every kitty if people would just have patience.
