Bark Week (and Meow Week) at Great Plains SPCA

Pearl:  This past week has been Bark Week  (and Meow Week)  at Great Plains SPCA.  There were lots events including a coloring contest, bark attacks (puppy & kitten-grams), and several appearances by Mark the Shark.

 The week ended with a huge Barknado adoption event.  Guess what???  274 pet were adopted including several long-termers.  That's right!  2 - 7 - 4 !

The Mama helped ALL weekend.  She is so tired.  She is too tired to even give us treats.  I don't think that is fair, do you?  I know it is wonderful that she was able to help so many cats get adopted but don't you think she should be able to do that as well as give us treats?
