We are participating in Seven Days - Make a Ripple, Change the World.
On April 13, 2014, a terrible tragedy occurred in a Kansas City suburb. An anti-semitic gunman shot and killed three people in front of a Jewish Community Center. Ironically, the three people he shot, William Corporon, Reat Underwood, and Terri LaManno were Christian. Bill and Reat were members of my church.
Now the families have joined together to organize a week of activities to overcome acts of hate and encourage understanding and kindness. They are hoping to "turn one ripple of kindness into an unstoppable wave of faith and love".
They are asking people to join them during the week of April 7 - 13, 2015 by performing random acts of kindness. For each of the seven days, they have a theme for these acts of kindness and ways to fulfill them.
Today's theme is Love. I love these three kitties and even though they may say otherwise, they love each other! These kitties are getting big hugs from me tonight.
that is beautiful that the families have joined together to organize a week of activities to overcome acts of hate and encourage understanding and kindness. Absolutely beautiful!
